Acai and Pomegranate Antioxidants, Aid in Healthy Brain Function

We all want to be the best that we can be.  That includes looking good and feeling good.  Keeping our bodies healthy and strong is important, but what about healthy brain function?  Brain health is not only an issue for older adults, but for everyone, even for babies still in the womb.  New studies show that pomegranate juice consumed by pregnant mothers can help reduce the risk of brain injuries in newborns caused by a condition which diminishes the blood flow and oxygen levels, known as Hypoxia Ischemia.  Pomegranate juice is also high in folic acid, which is recommended for pregnant women to prevent Spina Bifida and other defects from developing in their unborn child.
